The Rainbow 

Thunder claps all around, 
Rumbling, tumbling, is the sound. 
Then a brief moment of silence—
Now the skies are brightening 
With a bolt of lightening. 
A show of nature's defiance. 
Yet despite the storm clouds tall 
A soft sunshower starts to fall. 
Reminding us in bliss of the solemn promise.
